Rules and Reguations
Entry Levels
Verge offers three competitive levels in order to give dancers of all abilities and experiences the opportunity to compete.

Novice- Dancers who train less than two hours a week or have been dancing for less than two years.
​
Intermediate- Dancers who train between 2-5 hours a week or have been dancing between 2-6 years.
​
Elite- Dancers who train more than five hours a week or have been dancing for over six years
​
*Please note, a dancers level and ability are measured by more than how long/often they train, the descriptiions for each division are a rough outline. Please use your best judgement to properly place your entry based on the skills and execution of the choreogrphy. If there are evident discrepancies in entry levels, Verge reserves the right to change the entry level placement into the correct category.
Age Divisions
Verge offers 4 age divisions. A dancers age is determined by how old they will be on January 1st 2024. For example if a dancer will turn 12 on January 2nd 2024 they will be registered aa 11 years old. Duo/trio ages will be determined by the average age of all of the performers.
The age divisions are as follows:

Mini- Ages 6-8
